Position Overview

The Dermatology Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily clinical operations, ensuring efficient patient flow, coordinating staff activities, and maintaining a high standard of patient care and satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills to effectively support both clinical and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage clinical flow, staff interaction, and all daily operational functions.
• Manage and coordinate employee schedules.
• Collaborate with Marketing to assist with local advertising efforts using provided materials.
• Monitor and adjust pricing and product offerings to remain competitive with local dermatology providers.
• Ensure completion of daily, weekly, and monthly reports by established deadlines.
• Submit payroll accurately at the end of each pay period; make necessary time card adjustments in Paycom.
• Supervise staff to ensure job duties are completed in a timely and effective manner.
• Monitor and improve patient satisfaction by addressing feedback and continuously enhancing the patient experience.
• Conduct audits of NextGen daily reports and worklogs to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Professionally resolve staff conflicts and foster a positive work environment.
• Ensure full compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and other applicable governmental regulations.
• Make bank deposits and send deposit receipts to the appropriate department.
• Maintain inventory levels and place supply orders as needed.
• Assign and oversee maintenance of all required logs (e.g., Botox Log, Narcotic Log, MOHS Log).
• Take necessary disciplinary actions with prior approval from upper management.
• Ensure all clinic vehicles are properly maintained and that registration and insurance documentation is current.
